Sergi Mesquida is passionate about Technology and Innovation
He combines his technical background, as Telecommunications and Information Systems Engineer, with his business acumen developed through an MBA and his experience working in C-level positions for public and private technology companies of different sectors.

During the last 20 years, he has been working as an “intrapreneur” in those companies, applying an Open Innovation approach in order to leverage the internal technologies of the company, as well as his knowledge of “external” technologies and business models, with the aim of setting up new business areas, to address new markets, or design and develop new products and services for existing markets.

During the last 8 years, Sergi has been involved in the development of new strategic projects in the travel industry, leveraging the application of cutting edge technologies like big data, advanced analytics, RPA, artificial intelligence (natural language processing and machine-learning) and blockchain, among other technologies.

Since 2015 Sergi is Lecturer at EADA Business School, specialized in Touristic Innovation.
