Carlos Villaro Lassen, is the Secretary-General of the European Holiday Home Association (EHHA), the association that represents the largest number of tourist accommodations in Europe with more than 20 million beds.

Carlos in recent years has worked tirelessly in the vacation rental sector to create a greater understanding between European politicians, “international decision-makers” and the public, to make them understand the importance and weight of the rental sector. In addition to lobbing for the tourist rental industry at the European level, the best way to provide the best conditions for companies in the sector.

Vacation rental is a reality that is here to stay and as such needs fair regulation for the benefit of tourists, vacation homeowners and managers, for the sustainable development of tourism both in the city and in rural and coastal areas.

With a Master in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and experience as CEO in the Danish Holiday Homes Association along with experience in the political sector in various European countries and with the European Union, Carlos Villaro Lassen aims to unify the rental sector vacation at an international level.
